While engaged in a call, the called party has the opportunity to answer an incoming call before the calling party is forwarded to an alternate answer point. The called party hears camp-on tone when there is an incoming call. Display sets also show " XXXX is waiting" (where XXXX is the extension of the calling party). Incoming calls camp-on until the programmed timer runs out. They are then forwarded to the programmed Call Forward No Answer point.
If Call Forward Busy is enabled on the set, incoming calls follow the Call Forward Busy programming and do not camp-on.
Call Rerouting is not supported for this feature. The call is forwarded after the Call Forward - Delay timer expires only if the Call Forward No Answer feature is configured and enabled for the user, otherwise the call is camped on indefinitely.
In the Class
of Service Options form
Set the Call Forward - Delay (0 - 125 sec) option to the desired time
Set the Call Forward No Answer Timer (0 - 125 sec) option to the desired time
If this timer is set to "0", the functionality is disabled and calls follow normal programming conditions.
